I just came across another martial arts quote and added it to the quote bar above. I thought it was so incredibly excellent that I'm going to post it here for more folks to see. This has been alternately attributed to Philo of Alexandria and to Plato of Athens. Either way, pay attention:

That is a great quote. I ended up making mention of it, and leaving a link, over at SBC Outpost (Caution! If you go there, be prepared for people who absolutely run the gamut of what is contained in the Southern Baptist Convention, including some with whom I would have a hard time disagreeing with more strongly), so don't be too surprised if you get some unexpected visitors.
ReplyDeleteIt's taken me years to get to the point where I have any sympathy for those fighting battles different from the ones I have to fight. Great quote to keep in mind.
