Several months ago, Chad Morrison of Akari Dojo in Richmond Virginia showed me a cool takedown from a failed uchimata. We had a hard time figuring out what it was because the motion initially seems pretty alien to judo, but I finally figured out that it was a variant of the Granby roll.
